FireFlight FireFlight has multiple functions including: fire suppression, emergency medical transportation, law enforcement support, search and rescue, and mutual aid support within the region.
Marine Rescue Flagler County formed its marine rescue team in 2010. Thirteen members of Flagler County Fire Rescue are certified for the team, which undergoes specialized training several times throughout the year to stay proficient.
Technical Rescue Team The Regional Domestic Security Task Force and the State Warning Group on Domestic Preparedness selected Flagler County Fire Rescue to host a Type II Technical Rescue Team in 2005. The team’s designation is TRT - 312.
Wildfire Mitigation Team Flagler County Fire Rescue's Wildfire Mitigation Teams key objective is prescribed burning to reduce the fuel available around homes and businesses so that when a wild fire threatens the area it is easier to manage and less likely to spared into populated areas.
SWAT Paramedic Team SWAT Paramedic Team provides life-saving care in high-risk situations and participate in specialized training, including collaboration with military units and courses in Tactical Emergency Casualty Care, to ensure readiness for immediate deployment.
