Flagler County Public Transportation (FCPT) is a demand response, shared ride, door to door service. Operators pick up and drop off multiple riders per hour and are ready to assist both ambulatory and non-ambulatory clients boarding and leaving the vehicle.
Service is open to eligible riders countywide, with a focus on older adults and people with disabilities. Riders must apply and be approved before their first trip.

In March 2026, Flagler County adopted the Flagler County Transit Development Plan (TDP) FY 2026-2035, the County's ten year strategic guide for maintaining, improving, and expanding public transportation services in Flagler County.
The plan evaluates current transit services and community needs and identifies priorities for future service, infrastructure, and other improvements. Its development included an assessment of existing conditions and demographics, evaluation of current transit services, market research and public involvement, an assessment of local conditions and transit needs, and a ten year implementation program.
Transit Development Plans are required for agencies to receive State Block Grant funds for transit system operations. Transit agencies must complete a major TDP update every five years and an annual update or progress report in all other years.
Flagler County developed this TDP through a structured planning process that connects community needs, transit system priorities, and public input with recommendations that are feasible, measurable, and fundable.
The FY 2026-2035 plan replaces the FY 2022-2031 Transit Development Plan and its annual progress reports. Those documents remain available for reference.

You will get an automated call the night before your trip and again about 30 minutes before the bus arrives.
Service operates within Flagler County. The fare is $2.00 each way.
Operators assist ambulatory and non-ambulatory riders. The application asks about manual and motorized wheelchairs, powered scooters, walkers, canes, white canes, respirators, service animals, child car seats, and personal care attendants, so list what you use when you apply.
Eligibility is limited to people who have little or no access to transportation because of income (at 150 percent of the federal poverty level), are over the age of 60, or have a disability that prevents them from driving. Applying does not automatically certify you for service, and a functional assessment may be required.
Submit a completed application with a copy of your supporting documentation. Apply whichever way is easier for you. The online form accepts your documents as uploads, and the paper form can be filled out by hand and brought to the office.

Rates for advertising on Flagler County Public Transportation buses are set per year, per sign. All ads must be full size, printed, perforated decals ready for installation. Artwork must be supplied by the customer and approved in advance.
