The Innovation & Technology department delivers secure, reliable information technology and communications infrastructure for Flagler County government. In addition to core IT operations, the department supports video production, E911 addressing, GIS, the Public Safety Communication System (800MHz radio), and the Public Safety Software System (computer-aided dispatch).
IT services are provided to the Flagler County Board of County Commissioners and all county departments, the Flagler County Sheriff's Office, and the City of Flagler Beach including its police and fire departments. Limited services are also provided to the Clerk of Court, Property Appraiser, Supervisor of Elections, Tax Collector, City of Bunnell, City of Palm Coast, Court Services, State Attorney's Office, and the Office of the Public Defender.
Operates a help desk for all supported entities, assisting with any IT issues via telephone, remote access, and on-site visits.
Manages network infrastructure, server administration, telephony, and internet connectivity, along with email, data, software, and website support.
Maintains systems for storing, retrieving, analyzing, and utilizing geographic and spatially related information across the county.
Manages the E9-1-1 system to ensure accuracy and reliability of local 9-1-1 service, including location databases, GIS mapping, and call-processing equipment.
Provides countywide two-way radio communications, fire alert paging, radio dispatch consoles, microwave linking systems, and public safety software (CAD).
Operates broadcast and streaming systems for county meetings and workshops, and produces video content for multiple county departments.
