April 21, 2026 – Flagler County Health and Human Services Department is bringing together a full complement of social services providers for its “Flagler Spring Outreach” to provide free information, as well as immediate assistance with things like free food and haircuts – provided by Grace Food Pantry and Flagler Technical College, respectively. The event will be held from 12:30 to 3 p.m. on May 15 at Cattleman’s Hall at the Fairgrounds.
“Sometimes the only reason people don’t get help is that they aren’t exactly sure what they need or where to find assistance,” said Health and Human Services Director Joseph Hegedus. “We’re here so no one slips through the cracks.”
In addition to Health and Human Services, the following agencies/services will be available:
“Human Services Program Manager Kim Bennett worked very hard to bring as many resources as possible to this event,” Hegedus said. “This is what community services is all about – people and organizations coming together to help one another in Flagler County.”
Bennett can be reached at 386-586-2324, ext. 3629. Cattleman’s Hall and the Flagler County Fairgrounds are located at 150 Sawgrass Road, Bunnell.
