Flagler County to close Household Hazardous Waste site

As of September 18, Flagler County’s Household Hazardous Waste site – 1700 S. Old Kings Road, Flagler Beach – will be closed thus saving taxpayers $400,000 from the budget. Items such as paint, tires, light bulbs, and oil can be brought to WastePro – 401 S. Bay Street, Bunnell.

FCFR Training Facility passes annual state safety inspection

Flagler County Fire Rescue takes its training, and safety, seriously.

This has been demonstrated and confirmed by the Florida State Fire Marshals’ announcement that the John R. Keppler Jr. Training Facility meets the state’s standards and has been certified as compliant with “all sections of Florida statute, Chapter 633, and all applicable sections of the Florida Administrative Code.”
