Who We Are

The Flagler County Emergency Management Office is the Department charged with carrying out the preparedness for, response to, recovery from, and mitigation from large scale emergencies and disasters.

What We Do

We work daily to develop relationships, create plans/procedures, and conduct trainings and exercises that help prepare our community to respond and recover from emergencies and disasters. Our partners include all county and municipal agencies, local districts (School, Mosquito Control, CDD’s, etc.), Constitutional Officers, Private Non-Profits, Utilities, state agencies, federal agencies, and many more.

We also maintain and operate the County's Emergency Operations Center, where key partners work collaboratively to prioritize and manage the entire suite of critical services that may need to be provided in preparation for, response to, and recovery from a large-scale emergency or disaster.
