April 15, 2026 – Love trails? Attend an open house meeting from 4 to 6 p.m. on Thursday, April 23, to learn about the Old Kings Road South Multi-Use Trail that is in the works. The meeting will be held in the County Commission Chambers Overflow Room, 1769 E. Moody Boulevard, Building 2, Bunnell.
“This will be a great opportunity for residents and visitors to learn about the project, and get answers to specific questions,” said Engineering Project Manager Amy Stroger. “They will be able to see the full 4.2-mile stretch of the proposed 12-foot-wide trail that will connect the Flagler-Volusia borderline to Old Kings Elementary School.”
The current technical drawing will be presented – a 60% design gallery – that will illustrate how the path is being designed for paving and permitting.
Flagler County Engineering staff and representatives from the engineering firm will be available to provide answers to questions about the project, as well as to listen to project input from residents.
