January 30, 2026 – Flagler County and its Board of County Commissioners are encouraging residents to provide direct input to its decision-making process with the launch of its second “Flagler County Community Survey.”

Randomly selected households will receive mailed survey invitations over the next few weeks. Those who do not receive the survey by mail will still have the opportunity to become part of Flagler County’s digital sounding board through an online survey that will be available soon. Register at Polco - Signup to be notified when this community-wide online survey option is available.

“It will only take a few minutes to complete this survey which will help us align our planning initiatives with residents’ top priorities,” said County Administrator Heidi Petito. “This survey is brief, confidential, and will play a pivotal role in crafting policies, enhancing services, and effectively addressing community needs. These include county public safety, growth management, public libraries, economic vitality, and more.”

The survey captures opinions on the economy, mobility, community design, utilities, safety, natural environment, inclusivity, engagement, and other elements of the overall livability of Flagler. The results will show the county’s strengths, areas of improvement, and what matters most to residents.

The Flagler County Board of County Commissioners rely upon resident feedback to shape strategic-planning efforts and establish priorities for the coming months and years. The data gathered will play a pivotal role in crafting policies, enhancing services, and effectively addressing community needs.

Those with questions about the survey are asked to call the Flagler County Administrative Office at 386-313-4001.
