October 8, 2025 – The Flagler County Engineering Department will hold an open-house style meeting from 5 to 7 p.m. November 4 (Tuesday) to review exhibits on three paving projects: Forest Park Street; Walnut Avenue; and Canal Avenue. The meeting will be held at the Hidden Trails Community Center, 6108 Mahogany Boulevard.

“Participants will have an opportunity to review exhibits at three project stations,” said County Engineer Hamid Tabassian. “They can do this at their own pace, engage with staff, and provide input and comments to us.”

This combined meeting will provide updates and gather input on the following projects:

  • Forest Park Street – Design and permitting for paving approximately 3.2 miles of Forest Park Street from State Road 100 to the roadway end south of County Road 90.
  • Walnut Ave – Design and permitting for paving approximately 2.7 miles of Walnut Avenue from Water Oak Road to Forest Park Street.
  • Canal Ave – Design and permitting for the paving approximately 2.7 miles of Canal Avenue from Water Oak Road to Forest Park Street.

“We encourage residents to attend and learn more about these important community projects,” Tabassian said.
