FDOT will have a nighttime I-95 ramp closure Wednesday (May 21)

May 20, 2025 – Flagler County officials are advising residents that Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) has announced it will have a nighttime closure on Interstate 95 (I-95) at the Old Dixie Highway interchange – both north and southbound – between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m. the following morning, beginning Wednesday night (May 21).

The closure is needed for ramp work, according to the FDOT news release.

Detour information:

  • Motorists traveling north on I-95 needing to access Old Dixie Highway should take Exit 273 at U.S. 1 in Ormond and head north on U.S. 1 to Old Dixie Highway.
  • Motorists traveling south on I-95 needing to access Old Dixie Highway should take Exit 273 at U.S. 1 in Ormond and head north on U.S. 1 to Old Dixie Highway.

The work schedule is subject to change due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances.
