Household solid waste is collected on Monday and Thursday for western and southern zones, and Tuesday and Friday for eastern and northern zones.
Recycling is collected once per week per zone, Monday through Friday, for unincorporated Flagler County.

The Flagler County Solid Waste Division contracts with Waste Pro to collect household waste, recyclables, and green yard waste for the unincorporated areas in the county.
The collection of garbage and recyclables within the municipalities is managed by each city agency, with some using private solid waste management companies and some using in-house resources. If you live within a city or town, please reach out to your city's administrative offices.
Flagler County operates a Household Hazardous Waste Collection center and recycle drop-off center at 1700 South Old Kings Road. Operating hours are 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Flagler County does not charge residents a fee to drop off the following: used motor oil; antifreeze; lead-acid and rechargeable batteries; paint; thinners and solvents; pool chemicals; fluorescent light bulbs; and gasoline.
Only 100 lbs of hazardous waste can be dropped off in a 30-day period. Additionally, there is a 10-gallon limit on gasoline and other liquids per 30-day period.
